Elvira Parr

I am a recent First Class Honours graduate from Durham University, where I was Artistic Director of Pitch Productions. I am currently studying for my MA Creative Producing at Mountview Academy, London.

 

As a producer, I am most excited by theatre as a means of visual and literary story-telling. I am drawn to stories grounded in realism that intimately explore the nuances of people and our relationships with eachother. I am also particularly interested in venue-work and innovative use of space and/or set to enhance productions and, often primarily, to entertain.

I have strong skills in marketing as PR Officer for Castle Theatre Company and Marketing Assistant of the Assembly Rooms Theatre.

I have also been invited back to the National Student Drama Festival for 3 years at both in-person and online festivals, obtaining experience in venue management, production management and as artist liaison for the workshop programme.
